We're building the next generation of machine learning tools to make AI more accessible, efficient, and powerful for developers worldwide.
Co-Founder & CEO
Former Google engineer and tech lead on the TensorFlow Mobile team. Pete was instrumental in the development of Google's TensorFlow ML framework. Prior to Google, he founded Jetpac, a startup acquired by Google in 2014. Pete is a recognized expert in on-device machine learning and has authored several books on AI and embedded systems.
Co-Founder & CTO
Former Google engineer and founding member of the TensorFlow team. Manjunath led the compiler infrastructure for TensorFlow and was a key architect of XLA (Accelerated Linear Algebra). With a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Manjunath brings deep expertise in compiler optimization and high-performance machine learning systems.
Pete and Manjunath met while working at Google, where they were both on the founding team of Google's TensorFlow ML framework. Their shared vision for more efficient and accessible AI tools led them to found Moonshine AI, combining their deep expertise in machine learning systems and on-device AI.
Moonshine AI was born from a simple observation: despite the incredible advances in AI, the tools to build and deploy machine learning models remained complex, resource-intensive, and inaccessible to many developers.
Drawing on their experience building TensorFlow at Google, Pete and Manjunath set out to create a new generation of machine learning tools that would make AI more efficient, accessible, and powerful for developers worldwide.
Today, Moonshine AI is focused on developing cutting-edge solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible with on-device AI, enabling new applications and experiences that were previously unimaginable.
We're proud to be supported by some of the world's leading investors in technology and artificial intelligence.
